May 1, 2008 – The Newberry Group now 100 percent employee owned
The Newberry Group, Inc., a global IT consultancy based in St. Charles, recently became 100 percent employee-owned. The move is part of Newberry’s overall strategy for continued growth, aimed at promoting continued quality IT solutions and excellent customer service.
Newberry has grown rapidly and steadily in the nearly 12 years since it was founded by Chairman and CEO Brenda Newberry in 1996, earning a reputation of trust and recognition as one of the fastest-growing companies in the region and the nation in the Deloitte Regional Fast 50, the Deloitte National Technology Fast 500, and the Inc. 500/5,000 list.
“It is my hope that The Newberry Group continues to grow even beyond its previous pace, creating opportunities for more people to become employee-owners and allowing all those involved to contribute in an exponential way to the economic and philanthropic development of this community,” Newberry said.
Founding owners Brenda Newberry and Maurice Newberry, who serves as the company’s President and COO, both retain their positions with the company.
