June 16, 2008 – Newberry security experts help revise CISSP exam
Two members of Newberry’s elite Security Practice helped revise exam questions for
one of the most prestigious Information Security certifications in the industry.
Dr. Rich Berry, Senior Computer Systems Analyst, and Kent Fujiwara, Senior Computer
System Security Specialist, were selected by the International Information Systems
Security Certification Consortium, Inc. (ISC)2 to participate in the evaluation
and development of new questions for the Certified Information Systems Security
Professional (CISSP) certification qualifying exam June 13-15 in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Berry and Fujiwara both hold the prestigious CISSP certification. It is a globally-recognized,
objective measure of competence and achievement, demonstrating competence in 10
areas referred to as the Common Body of Knowledge (CBK). The CBK domains are: Access
Control; Application Security; Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning;
Cryptography; Information Security and Risk Management; Legal, Regulations, Compliance
and Investigations; Operations Security; Physical (Environmental) Security; Security
Architecture and Design; and Telecommunications and Network Security.
