LaWanda Richardson has direct responsibility for monitoring and modification of Human Resources policies and procedures at Newberry. She is responsible for adherence to internal and external standards as well as functions including training, development, and certification administration; internal communications; and employee benefits administration.

LaWanda also advises, consults and serves as a member of the management team in the development and execution of short term and long range plans based on broad corporate goals, strategic planning, and growth objectives.

LaWanda has over 10 years of experience in human resources, including previous work in the construction engineering industry with Washington Group. She joined The Newberry Group in April 2003 as Human Resources Specialist. LaWanda holds a B.A. degree in Human Resources Management from Lindenwood University and Certification in Human Resources Management from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.
